First off, I want to say, thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have
enjoyed looking through my website.  I appreciate the opportunity to
be your Photographer!

I am based out of Beaverton Oregon but I am available for travel
world wide.  

I consider myself to be an "amateur professional" as I just took the
step from hobbyist to professional in January of 2009.  I am self
taught and determined to become one of Portland's most desirable
and affordable photographers.  
Each shoot is a discovery capturing new and exciting images.  I look at each person who has hired me as an honor
and an opportunity to create something magical!  I also view the photo shoots as a team effort.  I work patiently with
my clients giving fun playful direction and building the rapport and comfort that allows me to get the shots that both
photographer and client wants.

I pour my heart into my picture taking and editing and it shows!  Because I handle each shoot like I am your friend
snapping pictures of you, I can get the emotion and personality of my clients reflected in my photos.  I have been
told over and over that my ability to capture the feeling of the day shows in my photos!  

I use creative locations, angles and lighting to bring out the best in my subjects.  Because I am self taught, I use my
natural talent to capture unique images that never fail to impress!  I have a broad range of styles I can shoot. I have
spent a considerable amount of time studying other photos and am able to take those ideas and make them my
own.  I use post processing techniques that give me a signature style.  Because I was never taught the rules, I have
made my own and they work!  I have taken classic portraits, contemporary engagement photos, bridal photos,
event photos, pet photos and everything in between while I have been nurturing my talent and growing my business.
 My favorite style of photography include classic poses and candid captures that range from traditional to photo
journalistic photography.  I LOVE photographing people!

Currently my camera of choice is a Nikon D40 with a varying range of lenses.  

One important thing that I want to mention.  I prove every day, it's not so much the equipment than the person
behind the lens doing the shooting.  Ask me and I will send you the link to the very first wedding I photographed with

"Just because somebody has a fancy camera does not mean they are a Professional photographer.  Likewise,
just because somebody prefers to shoot with a simpler camera does not mean they can not produce Professional
photos!  

When looking to hire a photographer, make sure you like the person and LOVE their work, not their price structure
or equipment!!!"
